Dr Suresh D Mane studied Leadership and Management at Dudley College of Technology, completing his course in 2018. He is now the Principal at Dr D Y Patil Prathisthans College of Engineering.
Dr Mane described Dudley College as having “a strong reputation for providing high-quality further education across the region.” He highlighted the college’s rich history and innovative approach to teaching, noting that its industry-standard facilities and experienced instructors equip students with the skills they need to succeed in their chosen fields.
“At Dudley College, the heart of the institution is its exceptional faculty,” Dr Mane shared. He emphasised the dedication of the teachers, describing them as facilitators, mentors, and guides who bring theory to life in practical settings. The hands-on learning opportunities, including workshops using cutting-edge equipment, provided students with real-world skills that directly contributed to their career success.
Dr Mane particularly enjoyed the interactive nature of the courses, which included group projects, simulations, and case studies. He believes that this approach fostered crucial skills like problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking. “The commitment to hands-on learning truly sets Dudley College apart,” he added.
His fondest memory of college was completing a challenging individual project and presenting his findings, an experience that provided valuable insights and helped him grow both personally and professionally.
