Jade did her Retail L2 and L3 courses while at Dudley College. She now works as a Receptionist/Helper at Wombourne Volunteer Bureau. She said “my time at College helped me to grow as and individual and gave me coping strategies to deal with struggles in life. It also gave me confidence and the self-belief that I could be who I was and achieve anything I put my mind to, regardless of my background and disability.”
“I loved my courses because the support I had from my tutors was fantastic, they would go above and beyond to support me not only with my courses but also with my mental well-being and struggles outside of college. I would like to say a extra special thank you to James Woodall & Reanne Toone for giving me they extra support and push because without there help I wouldn’t be where I am now!”
Jade said her fondest memory of her time at College was “just being part of Dudley College itself, the facilities and opportunities it offers. Not to mention being a part of the student union, representing and helping students across the College. Also making some amazing friendships, which I still have to this day!”
